Microneedling

Microneedling is a treatment used to reduce fine lines and reinvigorate firmer skin. It is also referred to as Collagen Induction Therapy.

Microneedling involves using a Health Canada approved microneedling device, to make small punctures (pinpricks) in the skin.  The punctures stimulate the top layer of youre skin and then the body naturally rushes to create new collagen and elastin fibres as part of the healing process.

This rush sends a signal to your body to replace old skin cells with new one ones, resulting in less wrinkles, less fine lines, more even skin tone, less visible scarring, and smaller pores. It can also stimulate hair follicle re-growth. The area for microneedling is numbed first with topical anesthetic to ensure comfort during the procedure.

It's also used for:

acne scarring

enlarged pores

saggy skin

stretch marks

sun damage

hair loss

pigment issues

under eye bags
